Assessment
One of the keys to a good class is good assessment. There are many, many choices when it comes to online assessment, but management features and simplicity of ThatQuiz.org make it my favorite. It will definitely make your life easier and provide you with instant feedback on your students.
That Quiz
* Create quizzes that students can access by password only
* 1000s of premade math, geography, foreign language tests
* Easy to make a customized class test and/or modify it for students with exceptionalities
* Quizzes can be printed if there is not computer access

Assignment: In Class
1. Create a That Quiz account (or use one of the other quiz makers in the link at the top of the page - just make sure you can do all the steps below).
2. Start a new class (one that you'll be teaching in the fall)
- Enter two students into it - yourself and me.
- I'll tell you what to use for my password in class.
3. Create a two question sample quiz on something that you teach.
4. Put the link to the page for this class on your wiki page.
Other Considerations
- If you have a student with special needs (needs fewer choices on multiple choice tests), create a separate class with just this student or students
- Duplicate your original test (an option on the site), make modifications, and assign it to the special class.
- Instead of having them log in to the class page, give them the test code for their test (no one will know the difference)
- This works well for retakes or higher level students also.
